Acceptance of renewable energy in Germany

The growth of renewable energy continues to be of great importance to the German population. This is shown by a recent survey conducted by TNS Emind and commissioned by the Renewable Energies Agency. According to the results, 95% of those surveyed consider further expanding renewable energy "important" or "extremely important". 1,000 people took part in the representative survey in Juli 2017. "The German population is aware of the decisive advantages of renewable energy with respect to climate protection, security of supply and intergenerational equity. It is therefore a shared responsibility of politicians and the renewable energy sector to continue to motivate people for the energy transition," explains Managing Director Philipp Vohrer.
