Renewable Energies in Germany replace more and more nuclear power

Electricity generation from Renewable Energies has increased by 50 percent to more than 160 bn kilowatt hours since 2010.

Four years after the Fukushima nuclear accident, renewable energies in Germany proof that nuclear power is a phase-out model. The consistent growth of renewable power generation enables, along with increased energy efficiency, the nuclear phase-out in Germany. Electricity generation from Renewable Energies has increased by 50 percent to more than 160 bn kilowatt hours since 2010, compensating the decrease in nuclear power during the same period of time.
